Pride month is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. The first pride month started on June 1, 1969, and ended on the last day of june that year. Pretty crazy right? It has been the same ever since. Pride month has been a safe place for the LGBTQ+ community since that time, it gives members of the LGBTQ+ community to express themselves. Normally in society, acting flamboyant or feminine, rather than masculine, is looked down upon; It is seen as a form of weakness. Pride month, however, gives the LGBTQ+ community a chance to be praised for who they are, instead of being bullied.
Pride 2020
Pride 2020 is a new year for pride. Usually there is a big parade/celebration with millions of people, but not this year): Due to our main bitch “covid 19” we are staying indoors. Don’t worry you can still celebrate! Try a few of these ideas I came up with.
1. Social media: make a post showing your support or pride for the month!

2. Create! Everyone has a little talent, make something that represents who you are!

3. Reach out! Tell someone you know about pride month!

4. Comment your pride experience below!
Show others what you have been through and how you pressed forward!

BE KIND. Be kind to everyone. No matter who they are, because that is what pride really is.

If you are interested, here is a good place to buy a pride flag!
