Finding it hard to keep in the happy- back to school spirit? Well here’s a list of fun and stylish things to add to your backpack to keep the good vibes going all year long!
To kick everything off, staying organized is key to success in nearly any and every level of education. To keep everything in check, I got some adorable 80s print folders from target! Under the brand name “More than Magic”. These folders have kept up a nice look, while staying functional at the same time.

Another one of my favorite, and most important things in my backpack is my “Lines” mask from Moggy Masks!

My most comfortable and stylish mask comes from moggy masks! With fast shipping and adorable packaging, this was my favorite purchase when doing back to school shopping!
So far I’ve only ordered their mask in the style “Lines”, butttttttt, if you wanna be my best friend, don’t be afraid to order me a pink cow print- or any of the flower power ones. Honestly- I want their whole collection! Masks run at $10 a piece, and ship very quickly!
(I will definitely be ordering from Moggy Masks Again!)
Along with folders, when speaking of organization, using highlighters is a must! As a very organized person, I find it difficult to keep track of information while reading and writing without highlighters or some sort of annotating device! The ones I’ve been using lately are the Pilot Frixion Pastel Highlighters! These work relatively well, but I have had some trouble “erasing” the highlights- however- I bought them for the pastel color rather than the fact that they are meant to be erasable.
If Pastel isn’t the look you’re going for, the Pilot Frixion Colors, which are a lot like the pastel highlighters, are a great alternative. With impressive color payoff, and their erasable aspect, these markers have been a great addition to my stationary this school year. Unlike other markers, I’ve found this type to keep paper looking nice and professional, as they do not bleed through.
One more addition that’s far less common (and arguably less necessary) is a disposable camera! This year I’ve decided to record my memories through a more “old fashioned” method. Taking photos with a disposable camera is a whole lot of fun- and an interesting experience all together! To be completely honest, I can’t remember the photos I’ve taken so far, so it will be cool to see how they turn out once they’ve been developed!
