I have been wanting to paint my wall for months, & it’s finally done and I love it!

I was inspired by a few Tik Tok's who did the same to their walls during the beginning of quarantine & I wanted to recreate it!

Supplies needed!

- Paint (I had a few colors picked out but only used two)

- Brushes

- Painters Tape

- A level tool

- Tape measure

- Pencil

We started with a clean wall and measured out how thick I wanted the stripes. We decided to make each stripe 4 inches wide. We also measured how tall it would go up onto the wall, I put a dresser on that wall so I measured it based off of that.

Using the level we drew lines with the pencil down the wall and taped those off. We used the edge of the paint can to draw the curve at the top of the line so it would be perfectly rounded.

We finished taping and started to paint the first line (red). I did a few coats on this color because my wall color is grey.

We let the red dry a bit and took the tape off when the paint was kind of tacky. I let the paint dry for a few hours and began taping off the red line so I could start my next one.

I taped off the red edge and measured out 4 inches and began drawing my lines. My mom helped me mix the yellow/cream and orange together so we could get the perfect color to match the red.

This color needed a few coats for how light it was next to the grey.

We finished painting and removed the tape when the paint was still a little bit tacky.

You will need to touch up some spots! I still need to touch up the corner curve of the line with the grey paint, and the edge of my line towards the other side of the wall.

Depending on how many stripes you are doing, measure and repeat these steps! This project was super fun and I loved how it turned out.
